The Greatness Of A Culture Can Be Found In Its Festivals

Lovely Public School organized a cultural extravaganza- 'Festive Splendor', a special assembly on 3rd September, 2022. The performers of the assembly were the tiny tots of Class 2. The event was graced by the school's Managing Director, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal, Dr. Bhawana Malik and Educationist, Ms. Swati. The assembly, as the name suggests revolved around the diverse festivals celebrated in India. The event commenced with words of wisdom by Dr. Manoj Kumar followed by Ganesh Vandana and Sarva Dharma Prayer. Then came the spectacular presentation of the different festivals like Holi, Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami, Dussehra, Deepawali and Christmas wherein the students explained about the origin of the festivals and also danced to festive songs bringing forth the beauty and grace of Indian musical treasure. The parents of the tiny tots encouraged and appreciated their wards by clapping and singing along. The excitement of the children attired in vivid costumes was inexplicable. The event concluded with Mangal Gaan and vote of thanks by Ms. Deepa Bhatnagar, the academic head of Class 1&2The program was a grand success and was highly appreciated by one and all.

35th R.P.M. Declamation Contest

Lovely Public Senior Secondary School witnessed the 35th RPM Declamation Contest – the most awaited annual event which provides youth a golden opportunity to showcase and nurture their talent. There was 100% participation of Nursery to Grade 1 in Show and Tell competition in their respective classes. On 20.09.22 , selected students of Grade 2 to Grade 12 shared their views on different topics.
